At the beginning of October the CAPTURE team were at Diamond Light Source, the UK’s national synchrotron utilising the Microfocus Spectroscopy and Diffraction I18 beamline. In 3 days the team were able to analyse 57 samples and probe an astonishing 120 calcifications. It is now up to our Research Fellow, Dr Robert Scott to analyse over 8000 diffractograms so watch this space for exciting data, images and findings!
